What will an efficient pig farm of the coming years look like? Automated, digital, resource-efficient and focused on animal welfare. These are the issues that will be discussed on 23 September at the International Congress “Profitable Pig Production” during the working panel “Pig Farm 2030 in Practice.”

We are beginning to introduce the Congress speakers and the topics that will shape this year’s professional discussion.

One of the participants in the “Pig Farm 2030 in Practice” working panel will be Andrii Kurnaiev, a consultant on the design and equipment of pig production facilities. The panel will bring together topics that are already determining the competitiveness of modern pig farms: efficient feeding, smart equipment, process automation, animal welfare and practical cases of comprehensive farm modernisation.

Andrii Kurnaiev’s presentation will focus on technologies that help farms move from manual control to systematic production management. He will discuss automation of production processes, digital weight monitoring of piglets and finishing pigs, mobile weighing systems for rapid monitoring, real-time animal counting and intelligent liquid feeding systems.

Particular attention will be paid to integrated management of pig farm processes and data analytics, which enable producers to identify deviations more quickly, use feed and other resources more efficiently, and make decisions based on actual production indicators.

On 23 September 2026, at the International Congress “Profitable Pig Production”, we will discuss how these solutions work in practice and what Ukrainian pig farms can already implement today to become more efficient tomorrow.
