How can producers choose the optimal ration in a volatile raw material market? Why is efficient finishing not only about feed itself, but also about achieving the right balance between cost, quality and performance? Practical solutions will be discussed on 23 September at the International Congress “Profitable Pig Production” during the working panel “Feed Solutions for Optimising Production Costs.”

Speaker Serhii Dobrianskyi, an expert in feeding high-performance livestock, will address ration selection in the context of current raw material market conditions. The focus will be on practical solutions: how to balance wheat and corn, how to combine feed ingredients, and which technical aspects of feed production can be used to achieve the best possible results.

The speaker will also share practical examples of how farms use by-products from feed raw material processing to optimise feed costs, improve feed conversion and achieve stable liveweight gains while maintaining ration quality and nutritional balance.

Overall, the panel discussion “Feed Solutions for Optimising Production Costs” will combine an analysis of market trends, practical approaches to ration formulation and case studies from farms that have managed to keep production costs under control through flexible feed formulations, even under unstable market conditions.

On 23 September 2026, at the International Congress “Profitable Pig Production,” we will discuss specific tools that help farms remain profitable despite volatility in raw material markets.
