Russian drones attacked an agricultural enterprise in the village of Velyka Komyshuvakha, Izium district, Kharkiv region. The strike caused a fire at a pig farm and killed more than 200 pigs.

The consequences of the attack were reported on the morning of 20 August by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.

According to rescuers, an agricultural enterprise in Velyka Komyshuvakha, Izium district, came under attack by Russian drones.

The strikes caused a fire in a pig farm building. The blaze covered an area of around 50 m².

According to the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, more than 200 pigs were killed in the attack.

Thus, the strike caused not only damage to the enterprise’s production infrastructure, but also significant livestock losses.

Izium district in Kharkiv region is regularly subjected to Russian attacks, including drone strikes. This time, an agricultural production facility directly related to livestock farming was targeted.
