The decision on granting a grant is made by the State Employment Service. Funds are disbursed based on the rating: the applicants with the highest score initially receive funding. The size of microgrant is defined according to its request, but not less than 50 000 grivnas and taking into account the number of jobs: 150 thousand grivnas if an entrepreneur creates one workplace and 250 thousand grivnas — for two.
The program of grants for creation of processing enterprises provides for attraction of up to 8 million grivnas for start or development of processing enterprises. Thus, for the first thousand applicants the state co-finances 70% of the project cost, the rest is paid by the receiver. For the following applications the state provides up to 50% of the project cost.
Entrepreneurs can apply for participation along with a business plan of production activities through the Action portal. The participant is evaluated by the bank based on his/her business reputation, business project and interview. The decision to give a grant is made by the Ministry of Economy from the list of the bank's conclusions. Entrepreneurs that receive funds must pay taxes and ЕСВ in the amount of the grant within 3 years and create at least 25 jobs.
