Prices on the market for industrial pigs of slaughtering condition remain within the price range of previous weeks — 91–95 UAH/kg. In some cases, there was a slight (within 1 UAH/kg) positive fluctuation in quotations, but even with such a change, prices remained within the aforementioned range, and the average price remained at the previous level — 92.7 UAH/kg.
Meat processing representatives note the relative stability of both quotations and demand and supply over the past few weeks. In view of this, most of them do not expect prices to be revised in the near future. Some operators note a weakening of trade (in some places by 25–30% compared to May), increased competition between suppliers of chilled pork and difficulties with personnel. However, according to the majority of buyers, these circumstances do not currently contribute to a critical imbalance in the market situation, and no other significant factors are observed.
